No Kids Sit Out: Every child deserves to jump in for heart health!
Every February–March, schools light up with jumping ropes, heart-healthy lessons, and kids becoming Heart Heroes through the American Heart Association’s Kids Heart Challenge (which includes the classic Jump Rope for Heart activities).
Kids learn to keep their hearts, bodies, and brains healthy while raising funds for children with special hearts. They practice jump-rope skills, meet survivor stories, and feel the joy of giving back.
But here’s the truth: Too many kids still have to sit on the sidelines.
Traditional jump ropes don’t work for everyone. Kids who:
- Jump seated
- Use one hand or adaptive grip
- Have limited mobility or use a wheelchair
…are often handed a clipboard and told to “cheer from the side.”
That’s not okay.
At Equip Products, we believe every heart deserves to jump.
Our Kids Adaptive Multi Rope™ was designed exactly for this moment
- One-hand friendly handle (perfect for prosthetics or limited grip)
- Seated jumping capability
- Lightweight, durable, and kid-approved
- Same fun bounce as standard ropes — but built for real inclusion
When a child can join their classmates with their own adaptive rope, something magical happens: they build confidence, raise funds alongside friends, learn that their body is capable, and their whole class sees inclusion in action.
How to get involved right now (2026 season)
- United States: Have your child’s teacher or school register for Kids Heart Challenge → Register Your School Here
- Australia: Join Jump Rope for Heart → Register at jumprope.org.au
- Order Youth Adaptive Multi Ropes for your family or classroom (HSA/FSA eligible)
- Share this post with your school — let them know adaptive options exist!
Because when every kid can jump, every heart gets stronger.
