Finding Your Fit: Accessible Workouts for Everyone
Physical activity is vital for overall health, impacting weight management, mental well-being, and chronic disease prevention. Yet, nearly half of adults with disabilities in the US (estimated at 1 in 5) don't participate in aerobic activities. This is where inclusive fitness comes in, making gyms and workouts accessible for everyone.
Our friends at the Adaptive Athletics Foundation of Maryland (AAFMD) are passionate about promoting inclusive fitness opportunities, and they're wanted to pass along this opportunity in Connecticut in the hopes of inspiring other communities to do the same! These workshops are designed to empower individuals of all abilities to navigate the gym with confidence and experience the benefits of an inclusive workout!
